Why should I take this course?
Nowadays the threat of a terrorist attack is now a very real and serious danger.
From large scale coordinated attacks by extremist organisations to hate
campaigns waged by individuals, we may all be a potential target for terrorists.
The traditional view of a terror campaign being targeted at governmental
locations has changed, and it is now acknowledged that it is the public which
is often the terrorist’s target. In particular crowded locations, such as public
transport and shopping centres, where large numbers of people gather have
become key targets of choice for these individuals.
This course has been specifically created to help meet this need and allow
individuals and organisations to better understand their role and what steps
they can take in the fight against terror.
